I’m talking about how to make your grains a bit healthier in just a few steps!

There are a few different traditional steps you can add to each of your baking recipes to ensure maximum nutrient absorption and easy digestion. You’ll be surprise at how easy these steps are to make your favorite recipes just a little bit more nutritious!

For this Pumpkin Bread I used Einkorn Wheat Flour to add nutrients to such a fun seasonal snack! I did not soak the flour for this recipe because the pumpkin puree makes the bread so moist already, but I’ll be back here with my pancake recipe to show you just how I used soaked flour quickly and easily:)

Pumpkin scent and enjoy the (finally) fall weather with a healthy afternoon snack!

Nourishing Pumpkin Bread

Sift together the following ingredients:

1 1/2 Cup Einkorn Flour

1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon

1 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Ground Ginger

1/2 Tsp Ground Nutmeg

1/4 Tsp Ground Cloves

1/4 Tsp Baking Powder

Beat together the following Ingredients

6 TBSP Grass Fed Butter

1 1/2 Cups of coconut sugar

Add two eggs, 1 at a time

Add 1 can Unsweetened Pumpkin Puree

Mix 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract and 1/3 cup of Grass Fed Milk

Mix dry and wet ingredients together and pour into a buttered 9X5 baking pan.

Bake at 450 for 1 hour
