How to Make an Oil Roller

make-oil-roller

Essential Oils are great for natural remedies! I have a few favorite blends, or single oils mixed together that I pop in my purse and take with us whenever we are needing some relief. Roller bottles allow you to mix oils together that you use all of the time and dilute them with carrier oil to make them last longer. In this post, I’ll show you exactly how to make a roller and my favorite roller recipes!

What you’ll need:

Roller Bottles (I use 10 ml from Amazon)

Liquid Carrier Oil ( I use coconut oil for amazon or V-6 from Young Living-Item # 3031 for members )

Essential Oils ( This starter kit has the 11 most loved oils at YL and is great for beginner roller makers!)

Three Easy Steps to Making a Roller Bottle:

1. Drop Your Essential Oils at the bottom. *Note not all oils are distilled to be use on your body. In fact, the majority of oil companies distill oils for “fragrance grade” only. These oils should never be used on your skin or on or around children. For more about why I trust Young Living is the best quality oil for my skin and my sons skin, you can read more here.

2. Fill the rest of your bottle with carrier oil. I purchased a dropper bottle from amazon to make it easier to drop the liquid oil into the rollers.

3. Shake gently and pop in your urse, place on your night stand and use!

Now that we have mastered creating a convenient, natural and homemade remedy, here are my favorite roller recipes!

Always dilute when applying oils on the littles. Applying oils on the feet to infants and children is a good place to start, slowly increasing to other areas on the body.

For children under 2, oils to be cautious of or avoid altogether are basil, juniper, peppermint, eucalyptus, hyssop, and wintergreen
