This week, I spent a lot of time getting things we needed, which is totally fine with me, because I LOVE SHOPPING! Especially online shopping! I found us needing to stock up on some winter gear/clothing, needing a wedding planner (yay!!) and I got a tip on a fabulous dress maker on Etsy that I wanted to check out for an event I’m attending in November.

Warm Clothes for Winter!
I also needed to get Teddy some new warm clothes as the weather is changing and all of a sudden (literally!) pants are needed! Actually writing this today, I feel like I need to go get new wool under garments because it is THAT cold and Teddy’s woolies from last year are too small! But that’s for another day!
Gap is my go-to store for high quality clothes at super affordable prices! When you know your kiddo will grow out of whatever you buy them by the end of the season anyway, it’s important to find a good deal! This week Gap is having an EXTRA 40 % off EVERYTHING sale with code SOGOOD. They also sent me a code for $10 off my purchase, so look for one in your inbox if you are a Gap shopper! AND after I purchased I got an email with $40 GAP cash to use in December!! HEYYY! I get all of Teddy’s shirts and pants from Gap so this will come in handy for winter shopping!
Here’s what we got: The Boys Lined Cargo Joggers. I have been buying these for years! They are warm and fit well with boots, which we wear ALL winter! They are also perfect for little boys with all those pockets! I get 3-4 different colors each year to have throughout the cold months, This week I got True Indigo and Cargo Khaki.
I also hopped over on Etsy this week to grab a few VERY special things!
I’m attending a Black Tie event in November and I heard about an Etsy shop that custom makes their dresses! This was SO exciting because literally EVERY dress I purchase I have to take to the seamstress and get it taken in or up and it costs me an extra $100 every time!
This Dress Shop called Sew Trendy Accessories makes dresses with super stretchy material so they fit pregnant mamas! While you don’t have to be pregnant to get a dress made (hop over to their website to place a custom order by providing your measurements), it is nice to know that you’ll have a dress to grow with you when you are expecting and you won’t have to buy a special maternity dress that you will only wear once! I love investing in forever pieces!
I got the Emerlie Dress with a short train in black and a custom length so you can still see my shoes! I CAN NOT wait for it to arrive!!
Finally, I was on the hunt for a Wedding Planner! I love love love organizing and paper planner so much! Our wedding is going to be very NON traditional and I needed something that fit us perfectly! Something to keep addresses and plans in but I didn’t need the seating arrangement and bridal party tips that most planners are filled with. I found this beautiful custom made wedding planning journal from PreciousLifeMoments that was perfect! And it matches our color scheme (hint hint!) pretty well!
